Exhibitor Forum
Submissions Open June 15
Each year, the Exhibitor Forum provides manufacturers, vendors and HPC service providers with a venue to deliver a technical presentation that is open to both Exhibit and Technical Program attendees. Last year's Exhibitor Forum covered a broad range of topics ranging from cutting-edge hardware to advanced software solutions to data management infrastructures.
Once again, sessions will include topics focused on forefront issues such as data, HPC services, usability, and exascale. The Exhibitor Forum topic areas this year are:
- Hardware & Architecture
- Moving, Managing & Storing Data
- Effective Application of HPC
- Software for HPC
- HPC Futures & Exascale
IMPORTANT!
Due to space constraints this year, there will be less than half the number of slots as last year. Therefore, presentations will be awarded based on technical merit. The selection criteria for Exhibitor Forum presentations this year will be:
- Alignment with the HPC Transforms theme: 30%
- Impact potential: 30%
- Newness: 20%
- Technical relevance (no sales decks please): 20%
All other factors, including order of submissions will have no bearing on acceptance. Late submissions will not be accepted. Please make sure to get your abstracts in no later than 11:59 PM (EDT) on Monday, September 14, 2015 using the SC15 submission site. Each accepted presentation will be scheduled in a 30 minute slot on Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday morning.
This year, the Exhibitor Forums will be sharing space and coordinating with the HPC Impact Showcase to provide a consistent attendee experience with a focus on how HPC can transform industry and society.
We do apologize for the reduction in Exhibitor Forum time slots. As the smallest SC venue, the Austin Convention Center presents some challenges. Our exhibitor community is the heart of every SC conference and the Exhibitor Forum an important opportunity for both exhibitors and attendees. We very much appreciate your participation and support and look forward to offering an exciting EF agenda this year.
