Last Call: Workshop Proposals due Saturday, Feb. 7

The SC15 conference is accepting proposals for independently planned full- or half-day workshops. The deadline for submitting a proposal is Saturday, February 7. SC15 will be held Nov. 15-20 in Austin, Texas.

This year’s dates for workshop submissions and notifications is earlier than usual to accommodate the expanded focus on peer review. Proposals must be submitted at: https://submissions.supercomputing.org/

Students: Get your Team Together for SC15 Student Cluster Competition in Austin

Students interested in demonstrating their high-performance computing skills on a global stage are invited to form teams and sign up to compete in the ninth annual Student Cluster Competition at the SC15 conference to be held Nov. 15-20 in Austin, Texas.  SC15 is the premier international conference on high performance computing, networking, storage and analysis.

The Student Cluster Competition is a high energy event featuring young supercomputing talent from around the world competing to build and operate powerful cluster computers. Applications are now being accepted and the deadline for team submissions is Friday, April 17, 2015.

Coming Up: Tech Program Submissions Open Monday, Feb. 16

Submissions will open Monday, Feb. 16, for Panels, Research Papers, Research and Education Posters, ACM Student Research Competition Posters, Tutorials, Birds-of-a-Feather Sessions (BOFs), Emerging Technologies and Scientific Visualization Showcase. Details in the next SC15 newsletter.
