Technical Papers are Closed - 361 Papers Submitted

This year, 361 full technical papers were submitted for SC15. The Technical Papers committee will soon start reviewing the submissions. As part of the review process there will be a rebuttal period from June 8-11. Notifications about paper acceptances will be sent to the authors by Tuesday, June 30. Thanks to all of the authors who submitted papers.

For questions about the review process, visit  http://sc15.supercomputing.org/program/technical-papers/papers-review-and-submission

Panel and Tutorial Submissions due April 24

Submit your panel proposals until April 24th! Panels offer a rare opportunity for the mutual engagement of community leaders and broad mainstream contributors in a face-to-face exchange through audience participation and questioning. As one of the most important and heavily attended events of SC, your panel should include lively and rapid-fire content with challenging questions.

The tutorials committee is soliciting proposals for full-day (six hours) or half-day (three hours) tutorials that cover a wide range of topics. The tutorials program offers attendees the chance to learn from and to interact with leading experts in the most popular areas of high performance computing (HPC), networking, and storage.

Deadline: Friday, April 24, 2015

ACM Gordon Bell Prize Applications due April 24

The ACM Gordon Bell Prize is awarded each year to recognize outstanding achievement in high performance computing. The purpose of the award is to track the progress over time of parallel computing, with particular emphasis on rewarding innovation in applying high performance computing to applications in science, engineering, and large-scale data analytics. Prizes may be awarded for peak performance or special achievements in scalability and time-to-solution on important science and engineering problems.

Applications due: Friday, April 24, 2015
Email contact: awards@info.supercomputing.org

HPC Matters Call for Participation

Why does HPC Matter to you?

The SC conference committee is encouraging members of the community to share their thoughts, visions, and experiences with how HPC has been used to improve the lives of people all over the world. The committee is also soliciting interest from exhibitors in a high-profile plenary speaking opportunity at future SC conferences. This opportunity will be on Monday immediately prior to the Gala opening. These stories will be used in various parts of the conference and video challenge.

Interested in participating? Keep your eyes open for the Call for Participation coming out in May.
