Exhibitor Forum Submissions Now Open

Each year, the Exhibitor Forum provides manufacturers, vendors and HPC service providers with a venue to deliver a technical presentation that is open to both Exhibit and Technical Program attendees. Last year's Exhibitor Forum covered a broad range of topics ranging from cutting-edge hardware to advanced software solutions to data management infrastructures. Once again, sessions will include topics focused on forefront issues such as data, HPC services, usability, and exascale.

Due to space constraints this year, there will be less than half the number of slots as last year. Therefore, presentations will be awarded based on technical merit. Click here for more information.

Submissions due: Monday, September 14

Submissions Open for Emerging Technologies Track

The SC Emerging Technologies (ET) track is welcoming submissions for any new, potentially disruptive technology that might have a big impact on the HPC landscape in the medium to long term (5-15 years). While submissions from any potentially relevant emerging technology are welcomed, for 2015 we will have a particular focus on “SoCs for HPC”. System-on-a-Chip (SoC) technologies which might be highly advantageous for HPC and so an exploration of how this space might disrupt HPC is timely. For 2015, ET topics of interest will therefore include innovative architectures, operating environments, programming systems, energy efficiency, use cases, applications, etc.  Submissions that highlight relevance for HPC environments, systems and workloads would be of particular interest.

Successful submissions will receive floor space in a high visibility location as part of the technical program to allow SC15 attendees the opportunity to witness technology demonstrations and to engage with presenters in in-depth technical discussions.

Submissions due: Friday, July 31 (2-page all inclusive)

Seymour Cray, Sidney Fernbach and Ken Kennedy Awards Nominations due by July 1

Each year, SC showcases not only the best and brightest stars of high performance computing, but also its rising stars and those who have made a lasting impression. Some of the most prestigious awards given at SC are the Seymour Cray, Sidney Fernbach, and Ken Kennedy Awards that honor the memory of three greats in high performance computing. Each award winner will give a presentation on their work.

IEEE Computer Society Seymour Cray Computer Engineering Award
A crystal memento, illuminated certificate, and $10,000 honorarium are awarded to recognize innovative contributions to high performance computing systems that best exemplify the creative spirit demonstrated by Seymour Cray.
