SCinet Contributors Program and Scholarship Fund
The SCinet Contributor Program is a formalization of technology contributions and donations for which SCinet and the SC Conference have practiced with industry and non-profit partners for several years. This program aims to increase the visibility of contributors that support the innovative and cutting-edge technologies displayed at SC each year. In turn, this will ensure the long-term viability of SCinet relationships with our contributors.
The SC15 Committee is also continuing the SCinet Scholarship Fund, offering sponsors a new way to participate in SCinet by donating funds to help support network engineers and IT professionals that wish to volunteer and contribute to the SCinet effort. Through this Scholarship Fund, awardees will be selected through a competitive SC application process and will receive grants for travel expenses to support and build SCinet. Selected IT professionals from around the globe will have the opportunity to volunteer their skills and expertise with other like-minded and top professionals to create the powerful SCinet architecture.
We are inviting new contributors and existing SCinet contributors to join or continue to participate in one or both of these programs. For new contributors or those interested in SCinet, we would like to invite you to join this community of professionals who are dedicated to building the fastest, most innovative platform in research and industry. For our existing contributors we offer our sincere thanks and we hope you will look forward to these new program opportunities to collaborate with the HPC community.
An outline of the Contributor’s rewards and levels are viewable below. Please feel free to contact us with any questions, contributions, or donations at your earliest convenience by emailing info@scinet.supercomputing.org.
